My opinion about if a coursebook is effective or not.

I think a coursebook is a good way for making a class because we have a structured form of making a class and how o develop it, coursebook lets us how to guide about making and creating some activities in a lesson plan. In the other hand, the unique bad of this; it's a coursebook inhibits a teacher's creativity for making own activities.
